About GPA
Helping people discover what they don't know about themselves.
Our Mission
General Public Awareness (GPA) exists for those moments of realization — when you discover that something you've always experienced isn't universal. Many people live with conditions like astigmatism, tinnitus, or aphantasia without ever realizing their experience differs from the norm.
We present conditions in an interactive, accessible, and educational way so that visitors can identify potential conditions and seek professional guidance when needed.
How It Works
Each condition page on GPA includes:
- Clear explanations — What the condition is, in plain language
- Self-assessments — Guided tests to help you understand where you fall on various spectrums
- Community data — See anonymous, aggregated results from others who've taken the same assessments
What We're Not
GPA is not a medical diagnosis tool. We don't claim to diagnose any condition, and our self-assessments are educational tools — not clinical tests. We always encourage visitors to consult qualified healthcare professionals for proper evaluation.
Privacy
We take privacy seriously. Community data is always anonymous and aggregated. We don't sell data, send marketing emails, or display user identities. Authentication is only required for contributing data — and even then, your identity is never shown publicly.
